Blue Origin viewers got a little bit of excitement this week as the uncrewed NS-23 launch ended with some dramatic flare as the crew capsule apparently aborted the launch and departed the booster.
Viewers of the livestreamed launch saw NS-23 ascend to a height of about 30,000 feet before spying an unexpected spurt of flames from the New Shepard crew capsule. The capsule appeared to ignite its rocket-powered escape system just over a minute after launch... Tamarack announced the first SMARTWING upgrade of Cessna’s Citation M2 GEN2—an aircraft Cessna’s parent company, Textron Aviation, asserts will: “… usher in the next generation of aircraft design and technology, increasing comfort and productivity for passengers and pilots.” Tamarack initially secured FAA certification for its Active Winglet upgrade—a component of the SMARTWING system—for the Citation in 2015. Democrat lawmakers are prevailing upon the U.S. Treasury Department to launch an investigation into how airlines utilized federal COVID relief funds.
