Bombardier Service Centers In North America Now Authorized By ACR Electronics

Business Aircraft Centers May Now Perform Programming, Annual Inspections, Other Services

ACR Electronics, a provider of emergency beacons for Bombardier Learjet, has authorized over 60 Bombardier Business Aircraft technicians across its five wholly-owned North American Service Centers to perform programming, annual inspections and battery replacement operations of ACR Electronics, Inc. manufactured ARTEX equipment

The North American locations join Bombardier's Singapore facility, which received authorization last year. This authorization applies to all Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft and bolsters Bombardier's ability to offer one-stop-shop capabilities at its Service Centers.

"Bombardier Business Aircraft offers comprehensive worldwide support and services for our customers," said Stan Younger, Vice President, Service Centres, Bombardier Business Aircraft. "All of our wholly-owned, FAA Diamond Award winning facilities in North America, strive to set higher standards for aircraft maintenance and safety. We are pleased to collaborate with the leading development centre for emergency beacons - built with cutting edge technology," he added.

"ACR Electronics, Inc. manufactures products that are used to save lives. We are careful to ensure that only trained entities are able to program ARTEX ELT's. We are pleased to partner with the Bombardier Service Centre network in their mission of providing additional programming service to our mutual customers," said Wendy Cohen, Director, Customer and Field Services for ACR Electronics, Inc.

Bombardier Business Aircraft's maintenance network is comprised of over 1,000 highly skilled professionals located at its North American wholly-owned Service Centres including Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Hartford, Tucson and Wichita. The Service Centre network is supported by Bombardier Business Aircraft's fleet of Customer Response Team (CRT) mobile units. The vehicles are manned by a team of technicians and provide select part removal and installation services, line service repairs, minor inspections and more, supporting all families of Bombardier business aircraft.
