ANN Welcomes Avidyne As AOPA Expo 2006 Special Coverage Sponsor!

See The Amazing Avidyne Advantage
at AOPA Expo Booths 1511!

Avidyne and S-TEC are showing off the first certified large-screen integrated flight deck for retrofit installation in GA aircraft. The new Alliant flight deck transforms the proven King Air 200 into an aircraft with the state-of-the-art Envision integrated flight deck and S-TEC’s IntelliFlight 2100 digital autopilot.

ANN was among the first to sample the latest wares from Avidyne and S-Tec with its usual disruptive aplomb... with an abrupt engine cut, in full-on approach mode, while shooting the localizer at Lakeland, FL... and letting a new flight deck from Avidyne and S-Tec do the chores with very little disruption and NO pilot intervention.

Despite the abrupt cut, the King Air flew like a champ... with a less than 3 degree yaw deviation, excellent pitch profile adherence and very simple operating chores throughout the exercise... making this first-out-of-the-gate 21st century cockpit for elder King Airs the early leader in a burgeoning new retrofit market for those birds too old to have benefitted from the recent revolution in glass cockpits and digital autopilot technology -- and oh yeah, it's available RIGHT NOW.

Fly The Coolest Kingair Panel Update Currently Available... At AOPA Expo!!!

Demonstration flights for the Alliant Integrated Flight Deck are available during AOPA EXPO 2006 for King Air 200 owners and operators interested in upgrading their panel to improve the safety and reliability of their aircraft with Alliant.

The aircraft will be based at Thermal Airport (KTRM) which is about 30 minutes from the convention center. Transportation will be provided to and from the airport for those scheduled for a demonstration flight. Simply fill out the form behind this link and an Avidyne or S-TEC representative will be in contact with you regarding the possibility of scheduling a flight. Please note there are a limited number of demonstration flights available, so please schedule your flight early.

But... Let's NOT Forget the Entegra

First appearing on the Cirrus SR20 and SR22, Avidyne's Entegra LCD panels quickly set the standard by which all other glass cockpits are judged. This is some classy glass, folks... featuring large displays with SHARP text and graphics, and more options than even Jim can fiddle with on a long cross-country. Last year, Avidyne added Ryan International's TAS traffic avoidance systems to its repertoire -- offering yet another advanced safety option to its growing product list.

Avidyne is the leading provider of situational awareness displays and integrated flight deck systems for general aviation aircraft, providing the safety, capability, and reliability benefits of air transport and bizjet flight decks, at cost and weight targets required for general aviation. No kidding...

Over the past few years, nearly two thousand aircraft have come to find guidance, security and efficiency under the tutelage of Avidyne Entegra integrated flight deck systems.
