Elizabeth Ricci Named CEO Of Corporate Wings

Commits To Elevating Aircraft Management Service For The Modern Private Aircraft Owner

Corporate Wings, an aircraft management company and a member of the Directional Aviation family of companies, has named Elizabeth Ricci to the position of chief executive officer. She was previously Corporate Wings’ vice president of client services.

“Corporate Wings is a leader in private aviation, and it remains close to my heart nearly 40 years after I acquired it,” said Kenn Ricci, principal of Directional Aviation. “A passion for aviation is essential to success in aircraft management, together with a drive to exceed customer expectations. I am proud to see Elizabeth lead Corporate Wings into a new generation.”

Prior to joining Corporate Wings, Elizabeth Ricci served as a marketing manager and most recently as a director at Nextant Aerospace, another Directional Aviation company.

“I know the joy that owning and flying an aircraft can bring,” said Elizabeth Ricci. “My goal as chief executive officer of Corporate Wings is to ensure that all of the aircraft under our management are cared for, operated and staffed precisely to each owner’s needs and wishes. Our job is to absorb the burden and make aircraft ownership a pleasure for our clients.”

Elizabeth Ricci earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Arizona State University, graduating magna cum laude, and holds a certificate in financial accounting from Harvard Business School. She is passionate about supporting the community through volunteerism and philanthropy and has served on committees for the Northern Ohio Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and as an associate board member for the University Hospital Rainbow Babies and Children Foundation.

When Kenn Ricci acquired Corporate Wings in 1981, it was a small aircraft management and charter operation company providing charter flight service to corporate clients. After Ricci purchased the company, it began acquiring fixed-base operators (FBOs) in a range of cities, enabling it to expand its management business beyond Cleveland, OH. In 1988, Corporate Wings was named to the Inc. 500 list of America’s fastest-growing companies. Since then, it has continued to pioneer innovative approaches to private aircraft management.
