Aero-TV's "Three Hours of Non-Stop Aero-Geekery" at AEA 2011
Turned Out GREAT
The INTENSE programming involved in documenting 32 separate New
Product Introductions at each year's AEA Convention and Tradeshow
are one of the most trying times in our year... but also the most
fun. Working in concert, once again, with the talented staff of the
Aircraft electronics Association, ANN and Aero-TV documented over
30 rapid-fire new product presentation for live webcast and has now
broken each of them down into the shorter, separate segments so
that viewers with specific needs can get to the product that most
interests them... right away.
ANN's full suite of AEA NPI programming (as well as other
programs we'll be adding over the next few weeks) can be found on
its own YouTube channel at
www.youtube.com/user/aerotvnetwork#grid/user/98A381CA2B4EA6B8.
Under the direction of Aero-TV Producer Nathan Cremisno, each of
the NPI presentation has been uploaded to YouTube for the widest
possible dissemination (though the complete archived live program
remains online and immediate available), as well as sharing and
dissemination. ANN has produced over 140,000 individual stories for
publication online since it's full-time inception in 1999 (though
aspects of this program actually date back to 1993). As online
technologies developed, ANN stayed on the cutting edge of online
news delivery. The first serious adopters of multi-media content in
aviation and aerospace news, over 4000 audio features have been
made available for download since podcasts were added in 2004. And
with the advent of Aero-TV in 2007, ANN has produced nearly 1000
video features -- a feat matched by NO OTHER aviation news-media
company.
Hundreds of avionics manufacturers, dealers, installers and
other general aviation professionals attended the 54th annual AEA
International Convention & Trade Show, from March 22-25, at the
Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, NV. The AEA Convention & Trade
Show has become the preeminent venue dedicated solely to the
general aviation avionics industry. Not open to the public, this
event’s primary focus is providing avionics professionals
with educational and marketing opportunities between equipment
manufacturers, distributors and government-certified repair
stations.
The general aviation avionics community knows the AEA
International Trade Show is a must-attend gathering for growing
their businesses, training their technicians and meeting with their
customers. And to the rest of the aviation world, the AEA
Convention is also known for being where "all the really cool stuff
happens."
