Indianapolis’s Leadership In Flight Training (LIFT) Academy has announced a partnership with Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) by which the two institutions seek to create new didactic and practical career pathways for aspiring commercial pilots.

in autumn 2022, students will be able to combine LIFT’s flight training and IWU’s academic curricula to contemporaneously earn two and four-year college degrees and commercial pilot certificates. The Aviators Model Code of Conduct (AMCC) Version 3.0 has been released by the Aviators Code Initiative (ACI). Developed by the ACI’s Permanent Editorial Board, a team of aviation professionals, and drawing upon decades of research and experience, the Code recommends operating practices to enhance the quality and safety of flight operations. Requiring an extraordinary aviation skillset, Stefan Zeberli of Switzerland was recently crowned World Hot Air Balloon Champion 2022, under a beautiful blue sky in Musrka Sobata, Slovenia. The pilot was already a name to watch out for, having moved from 3rd place in Saga, 2016 up to silver medal position in 2018, but was behind Yudai Fujita at the start of the 2022 competition. Zeberli was handed the trophy by previous champion, British pilot Dominic Bareford. All this -- and MORE in today's episode of Airborne!!!
