Mike Churchill has joined Aspen Avionics as its vice president of operations. Churchill has over 25 years of experience in electronics manufacturing operations and has held leadership positions as a plant manager, including functional leadership in test and manufacturing engineering, program management, and corporate operations.
Churchill will have responsibility for leading Aspen’s manufacturing, supply chain and quality departments and will be responsible for all company operations. He will report directly to John Uczekaj, Aspen president and CEO.
Prior to joining Aspen Avionics, Churchill’s most recently held positions included the director of North American operations for Smiths Detection where he was responsible for materials, quality, production, manufacturing engineering, planning and supply chain for four manufacturing sites. Prior to that, he held the position of vice president of operations for Suntron. He holds a BSEE degree from Washington State University.
“We carefully and methodically searched for an individual with Mike’s qualifications whose proven management style drives data-based decisions, holds individuals to a high level of accountability, and strives for operational excellence. With Mike’s background in electronic manufacturing, coupled with his considerable track record of successfully executing programs that drive a team-based performance culture, we are confident he will be a key leader helping drive Aspen’s continued growth,” said John Uczekaj, Aspen president.
