ANN CEO and Editor-In-Chief, Jim Campbell, visited the Aircraft Electronics Association’s (AEA) headquarters in Lee’s Summit, MO and had the opportunity to talk with Mike Adamson, the vice president of member programs and education for AEA.
The conversation you’re tuning into is about what’s being planned for the 58th Annual AEA International Convention And Trade Show to be held in Dallas, TX on April 8 through the 11th this year.
Adamson says they are focusing on the regulatory and technical side of the business for their training programs. He points out that the training programs are scheduled so they do not compete with exhibition hall presentation times; this allows participants to receive information and training classes as well as go to exhibition hall presentations.
The AEA realizes there is so much information being offered that it may not be possible for businesses to simply close their doors and attend everything. To help members decide how to schedule attendance, the AEA.net/convention website publishes a complete schedule of the events. Adamson strongly recommends planning ahead.
There’s lots of good primer information for attending the convention in this video.
