Beechcraft Signs Order For King Air C90GTx At ABACE

Will Join Fleet Of Nearly 90 Aircraft Operated By Beidahuang General Aviation Company

Beechcraft has announced the sale of a Beechcraft King Air C90GTx to the state-owned Beidahuang General Aviation Company of Harbin, China. The companies held a signing ceremony at the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE) in Shanghai, China.

The order was brokered through Beechcraft’s channel partner in China, Avion Pacific. The King Air C90GTx aircraft will join a fleet of nearly 90 aircraft operated by the Beidahuang General Aviation Company, a subsidiary of the Beidahuang Group, a conglomerate of China state-owned agribusinesses. Beidahuang General Aviation Company plans to use the King Air C90GTx for personnel transport and aerial survey.

The King Air C90GTx is an entry level twin-turboprop aircraft that comes standard with a fully integrated Collins Pro Line 21 avionics system. Featuring a cabin 50 percent larger than some very light jets, the King Air C90GTx seats up to seven passengers in its famed squared-oval design, allowing greater passenger comfort. It includes an in-flight accessible, heated and pressurized baggage storage area along with a private aft lavatory as standard.

Beechcraft this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of the King Air series. Since 1964, Beechcraft has delivered nearly 7,200 King Airs with the worldwide fleet recently surpassing 60 million flight hours.
