Texas Growth Fuels FBO Renovation at Perot Field

Alliance Aviation Services Expands Facilities at Fort Worth Alliance Airport

Alliance Aviation Services is nearly finished with the construction of their nifty new FBO at Perot Field, or the Fort Worth Alliance Airport.

Recent growth at the Alliance Airport has brought increased traffic and demand for better, comfier facilities for crews and guests. 30-year FBO veteran Alliance saw a chance to step in and fill the niche with a brand new 20,000 square foot location. The new space provides lounges, meeting spaces, and an attached hangar space with 68,000 square feet of parking room. It's no secret that immigration to Texas has been explosive in recent years, with fresh blood from coastal areas swelling facilities to capacity. The FBO was no different, and when a nearby building became available, Alliance brass leapt at the chance to expand.

“We were bursting at the seams some days, and we would literally run out of chairs,” said Christian Childs, president of Alliance Aviation Companies at Hillwood. "We just wanted the opportunity to be able to expand and have folks be as comfortable as they can be while they’re here, either waiting for a flight or waiting to fix one up.”

Adding in previous Alliance facilities, more than 200,000 square feet of hangar space will be available at the FBO. While their aircraft nests comfortably out of the sun, passers-by will be able to take advantage of the considerable creature comforts of the Alliance facility, thanks to the eye-catching work by Corgan Architects and Amaze Design. From flight crew accommodations to flexible, spacious meeting rooms, the FBO should be able to handle the full gamut of business aviation needs. The modernized interior will boast interactive displays to learn more about the region, as well as occupy any idle hands waiting for their flight.

"The new FBO at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport uniquely positions us for the growing demand for an elite, private flying experience," said Childs. "Pilots and passengers will soon have access to expanded amenities and the highest level of customer service they've become accustomed to over the years.”

Hillwood residents won't have to wait much longer for the opening - construction is scheduled to complete next month.
