Avflight Adds 25th FBO

West Michigan Regional Airport (BIV) Location Opens

Avflight announced that it had acquired FlightLevel Aviation’s FBO operation on Holland, Michigan’s West Michigan Regional Airport (BIV).

The acquisition occasions the 25th addition to Avflight’s global FBO network and the company’s eighth facility in its home state of Michigan.

Avflight vice-president of operations Joe Meszaros set forth: “Avflight Holland is a wonderful addition to our FBO network, adding yet another key Michigan tourism destination to our portfolio.”

Mr. Meszaros added: “We are thrilled to now support Holland’s businesses as a premier gateway to the region, welcoming leisure and business travelers alike. By partnering with the airport, our goal is to successfully meet the growing needs of West Michigan’s aviators.”

Avflight BIV will operate from the airport’s terminal building, which features a spacious lobby, offices, and two conference rooms with full A/V and seating for up to twenty persons. The facility has access to upwards of fifty-thousand-square-feet of hangar space in which aircraft as large as full-sized Gulfstreams can be easily accommodated.

The BIV operation will undergo a comprehensive Avflight rebranding to include new signage, design elements, and décor. Future growth of the BIV location shall be predicated upon Avflight’s assessment of demand at the location.

The change in ownership notwithstanding, tenants and regular customers of the airport will be greeted by the same faces they’ve come to know and trust insomuch as Avflight has retained the FBO’s longtime staff.

A full-service FBO, Avflight BIV offers jet fuel and avgas, airport management, ground handling, short- and long-term hangar and tie-down space, oxygen service, GPU/power cart, aircraft lavatory service, baggage handling, aircraft pre-heating and de-icing, freight handling and loading, an on-site maintenance facility, a handsome and well-appointed passenger terminal and lounge, complimentary refreshments, Wi-Fi, a comfortable crew lounge, and catering.

Avflight BIV is an Avfuel-branded location, offering competitive pricing and transaction ease with Avfuel Contract Fuel and lucrative rewards with AVTRIP. Avflight is a privately-owned international FBO concern headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. For more than twenty-years the company has supported the safe, convenient, and expedient movement of people and goods about the globe.

The scope of Avflight’s services is considerable, ranging from FBO ownership and management to the special handling requirements of airline, cargo, and large-scale military operations.

Dispersed across North America and Europe, Avflight’s network of FBOs is capable of accommodating and expertly handling all sizes of business aircraft, as well as large charter and airline operations.
