200th European Delivery for Cirrus

Innovative Aircraft Company Hits Overseas Milestone

"I'm already flying my CIRRUS everyday," says Luis Oliva, the proud new owner of CIRRUS Design's milestone 200th European delivery.  The Third Annual Cirrus European Owners Fly-In, held at the Plessey Belleville airport just outside of Paris, provided a wonderful backdrop to the celebration and festivities.

Mr. Oliva, of Barcelona, Spain, took delivery of the new SR20 with special tail number N200EU at the Paris event, saying, "The CIRRUS is more than a remarkable airplane, it is a lifestyle tool that will allow me and my family to travel throughout the European Union on our schedule."

"Europe is one of our key export markets," said Cirrus Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing John M. Bingham.  "CIRRUS offers its owners the opportunity to cross boundaries and enjoy what each unique European country has to offer for both the business and the personal leisure traveler."

Bingham said, "CIRRUS now has sales centers established in the Netherlands, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Scandinavia, Russia, and is continuing to expand into other European countries as part of our planned sales and service expansion."

"We're delighted that Mr. Oliva has chosen to select a CIRRUS," said Bingham, "and also for the other 199 European customers that are presently enjoying the safety and technological innovations of their personal CIRRUS aircraft."

Cirrus has successfully established itself as one of the world's leading manufacturers of personal aviation aircraft. Cirrus markets the popular SR-20 and SR-22 composite personal aviation aircraft that incorporate advanced technologies into their design - including the unique Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS™).
