NBAA Regional Forums Visit Three Key Business Aviation Markets In 2018

Events To Be Held In Florida, New York and California

The NBAA has announced the 2018 dates and locations for the association’s popular and growing Regional Forums, with three events scheduled to be held in important business aviation markets.

The 2018 Regional Forum dates and locations are:

-Wednesday, Jan. 24 – West Palm Beach, FL (PBI)
-Thursday, June 21 – White Plains, NY (HPN)
-Thursday, Sept. 6 – San Jose, CA (SCJ)

“NBAA Regional Forums are the best opportunities for business aviation professionals to attend education sessions, network with other local professionals and view static displays of aircraft and vendor exhibits, all in one day,” said Mike Nichols, NBAA’s vice president of operational excellence and  professional development. “Regional Forums also provide a venue for companies exploring the use of business aviation and local elected officials to learn more about our industry.

“The West Palm Beach Regional Forum continues to grow each year and is one of NBAA’s most popular events,” said Nichols. “It is a great opportunity to start the new year with updates on important regional topics, like temporary flight restrictions and other local security issues.” The Palm Beach event will be held on a Wednesday, departing from the typical Thursday date.

The White Plains Regional Forum will be unique among forums in that it will be held in an air-conditioned tent in the middle of Westchester County Airport’s property, rather than in an FBO or hangar. The airport’s close proximity to the New York City metropolitan area makes it a crucial business aviation airport.

NBAA’s West Coast Regional Forum returns to San Jose for the first time since 2011. The Norman Y. Mineta International Airport is home to more than 130 aircraft, of which about 60 are jets. The San Jose Regional Forum is also convenient to hundreds of business aircraft operators in the San Francisco, Oakland, Fresno and Reno-Tahoe areas, and is easily accessed by operators in Southern California, Oregon and Washington state.

“The 2018 Regional Forum locations are ideal, enabling large numbers of business aviation professionals to gather easily,” said Nichols. “The forums make it easy for potential aircraft buyers to learn more about specific aircraft, and these events give all attendees opportunities to attend high-quality education sessions presented by the industry’s top experts.”
