Letter To The Editor: O'Brien Makes The Fogg Wall!

This is what makes an ANN stringer's day, and brightens up the ANN offices for months

Dear ANN:

I am a teacher in Adelaide, South Australia, originally from Liverpool, UK, aviation junkie for more than 45 years, can't afford to fly but do whenever there's a spare seat.

I have a wall in my office with quotes on - all aviation related; there's Gann, Bach, Shute and now there's Kevin O'Brien.

His piece on the after effects of Oshkosh on 5th August, especially a paragraph which started: "All across Wittman Field...." summed up what this annual event is all about for someone who hasn't been there but is in spirit.

I'm hoping to have a pilgrimage there in the next few years and now the kids are grown maybe some stick time as well...

Keep up the good work ANN. My first job each morning is to read your email.

Happy landings,
Don Fogg

Don, we are thrilled that we were able to bring AirVenture to your mailbox in a way that made you feel like you were there. We consider the ability to do that an honor and privilege. Thanks for your letter, it made our day!
