Aero-News: Quote of the Day

ANN's Quote of the Day usually derives from current news, though we reserve the right to pick quotes out of history that have a bearing on the day's events and issues.

Sometimes, you'll find them timely and in keeping with the content of the day's news... and sometimes, they'll just be thought-provoking.

Reader suggestions and comments are welcome... and if particularly intriguing, timely, or poignant, may themselves become future Quotes of the Day.

Let us hear from you, folks!

Aero-News Quote of the Day

“We have certainly come a long way in 20 years. When I first started with the company, we had about three employees and one hangar with only 10,000 sq. ft. of working space. Today we have 21 employees, two hangars with up to 60,000 sq. ft. of space, and a plan to build a larger hangar here soon. Back then, most of our business was generated from our own fleet of aircraft. Today, most of our business comes from transient customers passing through Teterboro and our managed fleet now has a dedicated charter maintenance team. Along with growth also came the ability to provide additional services. For example, we now have a well-stocked parts department and operate a full-time detailing department. In the early days, we had to outsource these offerings. In 2016, we will be opening Meridian Hayward at Hayward Executive Airport in Northern California... As we continue to add aircraft to our West Coast fleet, our new FBO and maintenance operation will continue to expand with it. We have seen steady growth over the past 20 years, and now we are looking to continue the trend by serving our customers at our new location in Hayward.”
