Avidyne Delivers 1,000th Integrated Flight Deck

Glass For The Masses

Avidyne Monday said it's delivered the 1,000th FlightMax Entegra integrated flight deck, a demonstration of just how well-unprecedented acceptance of integrated flight decks for general aviation aircraft.

“Delivering 1,000 systems is a very significant milestone. Our customers tell us that the strong market acceptance of Entegra is due in large part to our commitment to providing the simplest and most intuitive interface for the pilot,” said Dan Schwinn, Avidyne’s president.

“Integrated flight decks are now the standard for new piston aircraft,” noted Mark Sandeen, Avidyne’s vice president of sales & marketing. “Avidyne was the first company to bring the integrated flight deck to light aircraft at an affordable price, and we continue to set the pace in the industry. Since the introduction of our integrated flight deck, we’ve had a history of delivering a continuous stream of enhancements such as EMax, flight director, integrated datalink weather, approach plates and TAWS interface. That pace of innovation will continue. First in Glass, Best in Glass,” he concluded.

Avidyne could not have reached this historic milestone of 1,000 integrated flight decks without the full support and innovative leadership of Avidyne's OEM partners including Adam Aircraft, Cirrus Design, Eclipse Aviation, Lancair and New Piper Aircraft.

FlightMax Entegra is currently available on more than 12 new aircraft models, bringing to a realization Schwinn’s original goals of producing the first fully integrated GA cockpit and establishing the company as the market leader in integrated flight deck systems.
