Tom Duley, Builder of this Turboprop Velocity XL RG, takes a moment to share a few details of this impressive aircraft. The culmination of two years of development, planning, and testing resulted in this sleek, high-performance cross country machine.

The build process was completed with the end goal of offering similar conversions in the future, according to Duley. Estimated cost for the end user, depending on the avionics chosen and level of involvement in the build, is in the range of $450-500K. Combining the benefits of a standard Velocity SportPlane with increased performance, and slightly decreased fuel burn, for 18 Gallons an hour at 190 knots TAS, Duley says.
