AOG Air Support Inc. has worked out an arrangement
with Jones Brown Inc., Insurance Brokers and Consultants, which has
created a Safety Discount Program for aircraft equipped with AOG's
Baron STOL (Safe Take-off and Landing) modification kits. The
insurance premium "Safety Discount" on aircraft equipped with the
Baron STOL Kits will be 15%.
The Baron STOL Kit, designed and patented by AOG, has greatly
improved the safety and performance of the de Havilland Beaver and
Otter aircraft. These aircraft are typically used for the transport
of people and cargo to remote, rough terrain regions worldwide.
AOG's Baron STOL Kits and other certified aircraft modification
kits are shipped worldwide and installed by their many Trained
Install Centres. All of AOG's modifications kits improve the
handling, efficiency, safety and performance of these great
aircraft.
The company's website claims, "Owners of Baron
STOL kit modifications boast a 30% increase in lift, better fuel
consumption with more load carrying capacity. The most important
aspect is safety enhanced by the aircraft's performance."
"We're absolutely delighted that aviation insurance companies of
the calibre of Jones Brown Inc. would extend a discount to our
STOL-equipped aircraft," said AOG President and CEO David Barron.
"It's like receiving the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval, but in
the aviation business. We are pleased to finally have our Baron
STOL Kits recognized for their safety benefits and believe that
this a first in the aviation industry."
AOG Air Support Inc., an ISO 9001 certified aircraft maintenance
and manufacturing Company, is a fully integrated aircraft parts
designer, fabricator, installer and marketer of custom aircraft
modifications. AOG provides "leading edge" technology with its
patent-protected Baron STOL Kits and other safety and performance
modifications for the de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver and DHC-3 Otter
aircraft.
