Oshkosh 2022 Morning Brief-Day 2: Tom Poberezny, Comp Air 6.2, Aspen, and MORE!

07.26.22 Episode Powered by Gogo!!!

Join us for the Oshkosh 2022 Daily Morning Brief, live from Wittman Regional Airport!

We'll have some current news, a little weather report, live interviews, a look ahead and the days events to come! The 2022 Oshkosh Morning Brief is powered by Gogo... who is building aviation’s most comprehensive 5G data system.

Day TWO of our annual AirVenture journey starts with the Oshkosh Morning Brief having to discuss some bad news... the loss of former EAA President Tom Poberezny on the opening day. Tom was initially elected president of EAA back in 1989, taking on additional duties as EAA’s Chairman of the Board in February 2009, then retired as chairman of EAA and EAA AirVenture in August 2011 and took on the role of chairman emeritus. To say the least... we will miss him.

And yes, we have an airshow coming up this afternoon... primarily celebrating Innovations Day/Air Education and Training Command Day.

The second day of Oshkosh is rife with major news announcements and this year is no exception... Aspen updates us on their plans as a company as well as some product upgrades. TL Sport Aircraft is evolving, the Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo has some big announcements--some of which involve us in a big way, and we have some great news from the Bob Hoover Legacy Foundation.... be sure to check in with us later for today’s Airborne Unlimited Episode and we’ll tell you all about it.
