Show Runs From February 26-28
Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. will showcase two of its award-winning, large-cabin aircraft at the Abu Dhabi Air Expo from Feb. 26-28. The static display will include the all-new Gulfstream G500 and company flagship Gulfstream G650ER.
“In addition to being well-suited for our customers’ long-range and large-cabin needs, the G500 and G650ER (pictured) are simply the best in their class,” said Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream. “Gulfstream’s presence at the Abu Dhabi Air Expo will be the perfect chance for business-jet customers in the region to tour the new G500 and record-breaking G650ER and experience the Gulfstream difference firsthand.”
One hundred and eighty Gulfstream aircraft are based in the Middle East and Africa.
The G500 recently entered the final stage of its flight-test program, with anticipated U.S. Federal Aviation Administration type certification this year. Capable of flying 5,200 nautical miles at Mach 0.85, the newest aircraft is well into a world tour showcasing its design and enhanced capabilities to customers and potential customers worldwide.
The G650ER on display will feature a high-contrast, automotive-inspired sport aesthetic, as well as four versatile living areas that allow for seamless transitions between work, entertainment and rest.
The highly customizable G500 on display will feature a natural and elegant interior, including three living areas to accommodate 13 passengers.
The two Gulfstream aircraft will be available for viewing outside Chalet C06 at Al Bateen Executive Airport, Abu Dhabi.
