NZ Flight Training School Selects Frasca Sims

Aero-News has learned Ardmore Flying School of Auckland, New Zealand, has recently taken delivery of a Frasca Mentor Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) and a Frasca TruFlite FNPT II STD (Flight & Navigation Procedures Trainer).

The TruFlite is configured as a Piper Seminole, and features Frasca’s TruVision visual display system. The Mentor features G1000 avionics, autopilot and TruVision.

Ardmore will use the Frasca simulators in their flight training programs. The Ardmore Flying School is a world-class professional aviation flight training facility catering to all levels of pilot training. They operate a modern fleet of fixed wing and helicopter aircraft including fourteen R model Cessna 172s.

Frasca International of Urbana, IL manufactures flight training equipment for airlines, flight schools, Universities and military organizations worldwide. Product range includes Flight Training Devices (FTDs), Synthetic Training Devices (STD’s), Cockpit Procedure Trainers (CPTs), Full Flight Simulators (FFS) and more for all aircraft types, fixed wing and rotary. Over 2000 devices have been installed worldwide.
