PSA Airlines Sweetens the Pot for New Hires

$50k Bonus for Challenger Type Rating, $100k for Captains Thru Dec 31

For those on the fence about hopping on with PSA Airlines, company brass has kicked up a little extra cash in the hopes of bringing fresh blood to the flight deck.

The best deal is a sign-on bonus of $100,000 for direct entry captains, with $75,000 for "experienced pilots. That's available through the end of the year, with captain pay starting at $150/hr and $93/hr for FOs. Captain pay can be seen at 750 hours of part 121 time, too, helping to pay off some of that weighty debt flight training often incurs. Those with previous 121 experience can "count their years of service towards pay, vacation and retirement benefits at PSA". They also receive Part 135 longevity credit, which "includes years of service, vacation and retirement for applicable PIC time".

PSA doesn't expect hires to stick around forever, either. They promise a "guaranteed direct flow to American Airlines," along with the usual pilot mentorship setups offered by similar programs. Hotel benefits are on tap, too, apparently up to $250/month for registered, eligible commuters. Travel benefits for friends and family looking to enjoy the nonrev life are a given.

PSA's recruiting team holds sessions going over the info for interested pilots. Qualified pilots with at least 500 hours of part 121 or 135/91 time can register at the link below.
