North American Airlines Flight Attendants Approve Union Representation

North American Airlines has been notified that its flight attendants have voted to be represented by Local 210 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. The vote among its 229 eligible flight attendants was conducted in August.

"We will begin working with our flight attendants to establish a contract that will be satisfactory to them and the company," said Steve Harfst, chief operating officer of North American Airlines.

North American Airlines is a U.S.-certificated air carrier offering air transportation services throughout the world for the U.S. military and commercial customers. Founded in 1989, North American operates a fleet of eight passenger aircraft in charter and scheduled service, including five (5) B757-200ER aircraft, powered by the Rolls Royce RB211-535E4 engine with full 180-minute ETOPS Extended Twin Engine Operations) over water authority; and three (3) B767-300ER aircraft, powered by the GE CF6 engine with full 180-minute ETOPS, over water authority.
