Miracle Flights Coordinates Over 700 Flights For Children In Need In December

An Increase Of Nearly 100 Flights Over December 2015

Miracle Flights experienced an impressive increase in families served during December 2016. The nonprofit coordinated a record 710 Miracle Flights—almost 100 more trips than reported in December 2015.

Operating both domestically and internationally, patients were flown from 35 states and five different countries, including Trinidad and Tobago and the United Kingdom. Highlights include 81 flights from California, 70 from Texas and 65 from Colorado.

For over 30 yrs. Miracle Flights has been helping patients with rare and life-threatening medical conditions gain access to distant medical care. To-date, they have coordinated 105,470 flights and covered over 59 million miles. Flights are provided at no cost to the family and can be arranged as many times as necessary.

"During the holiday season, it's especially important to give back. Knowing so many families were provided transportation to doctors because of Miracle Flights is the best Holiday gift our staff could receive," said Mark E. Brown, CEO of Miracle Flights. "I'm so inspired by the families we serve."

Brown would also like to encourage others to spread the word about Miracle Flights.

"If you, or someone you know is in desperate need of out-of-state medical care, please don't hesitate to contact us."
