The Next Generation Epic E1000 GX Graces Oshkosh Display #235 -- Don't Miss It!
Epic Aircraft, based in Bend, Oregon, began redefining the rules of aviation in 2004 when it debuted its first experimental aircraft, the Epic LT.
Its artful combination of turbine power, composite technology, advanced avionics, and unforgettable luxury, packaged in a sleek, all carbon fiber airframe, caused the aviation industry to take notice. And they haven’t stopped.
In November 2019, Epic received FAA Type Certification for its award-winning E1000 model aircraft, which evolved from its predecessor, the Epic LT.
Now Epic is introducing the next generation, the E1000 GX, featuring the GFC 700 Automated Flight Control System and the Hartzell 5-Blade Composite Propeller.
The E1000 GX offers improved performance, safety, comfort, and versatility. It is the fastest, most affordable, and spacious six-place single-engine turboprop in the world.
Epic Aircraft, LLC specializes in the design and manufacture of high performance, all composite, six-seat single-engine, turboprop aircraft. Epic is a privately held, design-driven aviation company that conducts all of its engineering, manufacturing and administrative operations at its Bend, Oregon headquarters.
Did-Ya-Know? Cool Facts About Epic Aircraft
Seriously... With cruise speeds of 333 KTAS, climb rate of 4,000 feet per minute, full fuel payload of 1,100 pounds, and range over 1,560 nautical miles, what else do you need?
Control system combines cable, bell crank and push-pull rod systems, ensuring a positive, stable, controlled aircraft.
No other high-performance aircraft employs carbon fiber so extensively throughout its airframe, including skins, spars and flight controls.
On July 15th, 2021, Epic Aircraft received the FAA TC for its E1000 GX model, which is the next generation of its award winning Epic E1000.
The Hartzell 5-blade propeller provides stronger, composite resin-injected blades that allow for a thinner, wider airfoil which optimizes flight performance.
The E1000 GX is powered by the Pratt & Whitney 1200-horsepower PT6A-67A engine.
Epic Aircraft recently selected Fort Lauderdale-based Premier Aircraft Service as its Authorized Service Center for the southeast U.S. region.
Epic is finalizing agreements with additional service center partners to establish a nationwide service network.
All E1000 GX aircraft will come with subscriptions to the fully integrated Flightdocs and the ATP Aviation Hub platforms.
