Bob Hoover Legacy Foundation Unveils New Display at NBAA

Hoover Foundation Located at Booth #6932 at NBAA-BACE 2019

The Bob Hoover Legacy Foundation will be unveiling an attractive new tradeshow display, and participating this year as an exhibitor in the 2019 NBAA-BACE effort for the first time. Taking place at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport Oct. 22-24, the 2019 edition of NBAA-BACE offers the Foundation the opportunity to reach out to the business aviation community and let them know that Bob's mission continues.

Portraying images and video from Hoover’s immense history of aviation excellence, the display can be found in display area #C6932, and will be staffed by volunteers from ANN and the Foundation, who will be discussing the Foundation’s efforts to honor Bob’s historic legacy with a more aggressive mission plan that will be revealed in coming weeks.

The Foundation is led by President Tracy Forrest, and Chairman Michael Herman, who work alongside fellow Board of Director members, George Gould, Brian Cochran, Joan Cochran, James G. Kidrick, and Rich Pickett.

The Foundation was established by Bob prior to his passing in the fall of 2016. Its purpose is to perpetuate Bob’s dedication to excellence, integrity, learning and mentorship that drove his fabled aviation career by financially supporting educational institutions and to inspire the next generation of American aviation leadership. The Foundation is a 501C3 tax deductible organization.

The Bob Hoover Legacy Foundation supports educational development and mentoring to people of all ages who are pursuing careers in aviation and aerospace. Through accredited institutions of higher education, the foundation will provide scholarships to deserving people who exhibit qualities representing the intellect, drive and generosity representative of future leaders.

In addition to financial scholarships, Bob’s wish is that the Foundation provide enhanced safety training, mentoring and networking opportunities and remains dedicated to partnering with other aviation/aerospace organizations adhering to the same basic precepts.
