Symposium Proves Not Gambling is Best Policy
Superior, Inc. had record attendance for their recent 2003
annual Symposium, held at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino in
Las Vegas (NV). Bernie Coleman, President and CEO stated, "We were
overwhelmed to see that the sluggish economy did not stop our
customers and suppliers from participating in this year’s
Symposium in record numbers."
A new Alliance:
Superior unveiled their new plans for the Superior Alliance
Group and the Factory of the Future over three days of
presentations from Superior employees and guest speakers.
Tim Archer, Senior Vice President noted, "The
discussions centered around the main goal of the Alliance, which is
to have Superior customers and suppliers work together as a large,
unified group to decrease operating expenses, thus maximizing
revenues and increasing growth opportunities." Archer continued,
"Superior is utilizing new age manufacturing techniques to truly
become the factory of the future and to achieve the goals of the
Alliance." A keynote speaker was introduced to discuss
profitability through the new Alliance, and a new website for the
group is currently in production.
Several industry speakers presented information on topics
ranging from logistics, engine lubricants, ignition systems,
high-performance engine parts, group insurance programs, marketing
and web development. Superior also unveiled their new XP-360
Engine® website. Mr Archer explained, "The site is truly a
technological advance in interactive web design where customers can
actually build their own XP-360 Engine® - online."
Superior’s thanks go out once again to the record number
of attendees and sponsors that helped make this year’s
Symposium such a success.
