Sierra Industries Extends “Fly-Thru Maintenance” Program For Citation Owners

It's Like A Loaner "Car" For Your Citation

Sierra Industries announced the continuation of the "Fly Through Maintenance" program into its second year. Celebrating the first anniversary of the program in April, 2010, the “Fly-Thru Maintenance” program, modeled after loaner services provided by premium automotive service centers, provides for a replacement aircraft during service or repairs of Citation aircraft.

While an aircraft is serviced at Sierra’s South Texas facilities, this program provides the owner with a comparable aircraft – often one of Sierra's re-engined FJ44 Citations – to keep them on the move while their plane is out of service. The program is available for any significant routine maintenance events, such as phase inspections, or during aircraft repairs or major upgrades.

In the event a Sierra-owned replacement aircraft is unavailable,  FlighTime Business Jets – a sister company to Sierra, offers discounted ‘dry lease’ rates and air charter services for a wide variety of high-performance business aircraft. The FlighTime fleet currently includes some 9 aircraft. Like
Sierra, FlighTime is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the SkyWay Group and is rated in the top 3% of charter services by the ARG/US rating service.
