Aviall Names New Senior VP For Operations

Ed Dolanski Comes From Raytheon

Boeing subsidiary Aviall, Inc. announced Tuesday that Ed Dolanski has been appointed senior vice president, Operations, for Aviall Services, Inc.

"We're very pleased to have someone of Ed's caliber join our company," said Dan Komnenovich, Aviall Services president and chief operating officer. "He brings a wealth of aviation experience, operational and supply chain expertise and fits perfectly with our aggressive growth plans and our continuing commitment to operational excellence."

Dolanski assumes the role previously held by Charley Kienzle, who has filled the newly created position of senior vice president, business development and Boeing integration. Kienzle will be responsible for the company's new business (supplier) development efforts. He has more than 22 years of service with Aviall, including vice president, human resources.

Prior to Aviall, Dolanski was vice president, Mission Support, for Raytheon's $4 billion Network Centric Systems (NCS) business, and was responsible for the logistics business strategy, business development and program capture. He was also the chief information officer of the Network Centric Business.

Prior to that position, Dolanski was vice president of aftermarket businesses and customer support for the Raytheon Aircraft Company, where his duties included overall support of 37,000 aircraft. He also has experience with logistics, distribution and operations with Wal-Mart and MagneTek.

"Both Ed and Charley have crucial roles," Komnenovich said. "They will help better align Aviall with our Boeing parent and fulfill our continuing commitments to both our suppliers and customers."

Headquartered in Dallas, TX, Aviall is a wholly owned subsidiary of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services, a unit of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, which is a unit of The Boeing Company. Aviall is a leading solutions provider of aftermarket supply-chain management services for the aerospace, defense and marine industries.
