First Certified In October 2010

On July 29th, Robinson delivered R66 Turbine serial number 1000 to Robinson dealer Les Gillespie of Gardner Aviation (Peachtree City, GA). CAP Is An Official Auxiliary Of The US Air Force

For the fourth consecutive fiscal year, Civil Air Patrol has passed the century mark in lives saved, as credited by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center. CAP, the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, conducts approximately 90% of all search operations within the U.S. as assigned by the AFRCC. The 100th and 101st save occurred Aug. 4, when CAP’s National Cell Phone Forensics Team provided the Wyoming Joint Operations Center with a high-priority area to focus search efforts for two lost hikers in Big Horn County.

On July 26, 2020, about 1110 mountain daylight time, a Vans RV7, N514BS, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident near Henefer, Utah. The pilot sustained minor injuries. AD: Daher Aircraft Design, LLC (Type Certificate Previously Held by Quest A/C)

AD 2020-13-01 Corrects Error in Previous Document

The FAA is correcting an airworthiness directive (AD) that published in the Federal Register. The AD applies to all Daher Aircraft Design, LLC (type certificate previously held by Quest Aircraft Design, LLC), Model KODIAK 100 airplanes. As published, the type certificate (TC) holder in the regulatory heading that identifies the AD is incorrect. This document corrects that error. In all other respects, the original document remains the same; however, for clarity, the FAA is publishing the entire rule in the Federal Register. This correction is effective August 17, 2020. The effective date of AD 2020-13-01 remains August 17, 2020.
