The details published by the NTSB is their Preliminary Report about a July 27th Icon A5 crash contains a plethora of cautions that appear to have been ignored or gone unnoticed by the occupants of the aircraft. At about 1220 Eastern Daylight time, the amphibious, Icon LSA, N663BA, operated by the company and a company instructor, sustained 'substantial damage during an impact with trees shortly after departure from Littlefield Lake, Lake, Michigan.'
