You could see it in faces all over Wittman Field as folks craned their heads skyward to catch a glimpse of the man who made himself a missile. Third Consecutive Win For France

The French team of Vincent Leÿs and Christophe Houver has won the 57th Coupe Aéronautique Gordon Bennett balloon race. The pair landed Wednesday at 8:00 am (local time) after a flight of 1402 km (757 nautical miles). The official distance is subject to the validation of the Event Director. This is the 3rd consecutive victory for France.
