Sixteen People Fatally Injured Saturday Morning

A hot air balloon with 16 people on board reportedly went down near Lockhart, TX Saturday morning. All 16 on board have been fatally injured, according to multiple media reports.

The FAA has type-certified two versions of the German-built Calidus Gyroplane after the recent completion of conformity testing conducted at their facility in Maryland.
