The last in a five part series, this week, continues with a series of interwoven interviews in which we asked about a dozen airshow professionals the same three questions... each of which was the topic of its own program over the course of the week. In this final installment, we asked a number of airshow luminaries the following question... after a year in which there were a number of tragic but unrelated accidents, are airshows as safe as they can be???

Series Begins Monday, May 12

"Coming Next Week -- Emergency Procedures, And Dealing With Strong Winds." Those words, written in March 2007, were the last I posted on the pages of ANN, until now, regarding my efforts to earn my sport pilot license. As regular readers might recall, I had just soloed an Evektor Sportstar at Grand Prairie Municipal (GPM) and was looking forward to moving on to my dual and solo cross country flights, taking the written exam... and finally, the checkride.
