Proposing Onerous Altitude Limits In Controlled And Some Uncontrolled Airspace
The Academy of Model Aeronautics is asking for assistance in what it describes as an urgent matter. The FAA recently unexpectedly informed the AMA that, contrary to earlier commitments to the organization, the agency is planning to limit all recreational model aircraft operations to 400 feet in controlled airspace and there will be no exceptions.
