Major Changes Coming For Fisher Flying Products

Getting Out Of The Kit Business, But Plans Will Still Be Available

In an open letter, Fisher Flying Products president Paul Riedlinger has announced that the company will no longer be offering airplane kits to new customers, effective immediately. Full size plans will still be available for anyone who wants to build one of the company's 14 models from scratch, and full technical support will continue to be offered.

Avionics Company Continuing Sponsorship For The Coming Season

Trig Avionics will continue their sponsorship of the Trig Aerobatic Team for 2014. Last year over 1 million air show spectators witnessed the team’s extreme and close formation flying. The team displays in two Pitts S1-D biplanes - these classic aircraft don’t just feature Trig branding, they also carry Trig Mode S transponders and 8.33 VHF radios.

Part 103 Compliant Airplane Has Electric Power Option Coming In The Future

Aeromarine-LSA announces the first US flight of the new Zigolo SSDR concept motor-glider. The Zigolo is an FAR Part 103-compliant Single Seat De-Regulated (SSDR) aircraft which means it does not require any pilot’s license, medical, registration, or certification to fly.
