Eurofighter Aircraft Were Delivered As Ordered By Austria, Company Says
On Monday, Airbus filed a submission to the Vienna Public Prosecutor in response to allegations of deception in the procurement of Eurofighter combat aircraft in 2003, which have been made by Austrian Defence Minister Hans Peter Doskozil. In this submission, the company (Airbus Defence and Space GmbH) denies all allegations made by the Minister in his 16 February 2017 press conference and in his submission of a criminal “statement of (alleged) facts” to the Vienna Public Prosecutor.
System Is Sixty Percent Smaller Than A Conventional HUD
BAE Systems’ LiteHUD head-up display (HUD) recently took to the skies for its first flight, marking a significant milestone for the technology and the program. Its first voyage occurred on a U.S. Special Operations Command AC-130J aircraft, followed by flights on Textron’s Scorpion jet and BAE Systems’ Advanced Hawk demonstrator aircraft. It is expected to fly on at least two other aircraft this year.
Company Will Supply Major Aircraft Components, Generating 950 Texas Jobs
Boeing has selected Triumph Group as a major supplier for its T-X Air Force training jet. If the Air Force awards the contract to Boeing, Triumph’s Aerospace Structures business unit, located in Red Oak, Texas, will supply the wing, vertical tail and horizontal tail structures, with opportunities for additional work, generating 950 direct and indirect jobs.
