LMC Announced Mover At Abbotsford International Air Show

Lockheed Martin announced Firday at the 50th anniversary Abbotsford International Air Show that Cascade Aerospace will be authorized as a C-130 Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) – only the second such center in the world. Cascade is currently a Hercules Service Center (HSC) and conducts in-service support for Canada's legacy CC-130 and new CC-130J fleets.

Pentagon Eyes New Air Force One

Would Serve Presidents Beginning In 2020

The U.S. Air Force is looking at replacing the Boeing 747-200B "VC-25A" aircraft which serve as Air Force One when the President is on board. The acquisition program was authorized late last week by Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition Frank Kendall. The authorization also reportedly includes new Marine One helicopters as well.
