Early Morning Thursday Flight For Intercept Training
The North American Aerospace Defense Command and its
geographical component, the Continental U.S. NORAD Region, will
conduct training flight exercises on Thursday, Aug. 27 in the
National Capital Region (NCR), Washington, D.C. Exercise
Falcon Virgo 09-11 will occur between 0000 and 0200 EDT.
First Foreign Military Sales Case Contract For HBC Military
Training Program
Hawker Beechcraft Corporation was recently awarded a contract to
provide the T-6A trainer aircraft to the Israeli Air Force. This is
the first Foreign Military Sales Case contract for HBC. The company
was awarded the contract directly from the United States
Government.
The Program Would Upgrade Basic Training For Australian
Military Pilots
The Australian Minister for Defence, Senator John Faulkner,
announced Tuesday that the Government has given first pass approval
for a major project to provide the Australian Defence Force (ADF)
with a new Pilot Training System.

demonstrated interoperability between its prototype interrogator
