Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Nine (VX-9) resumed normal flight operations July 10 on Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake (NAWSCL) after the base and the surrounding city of Ridgecrest sustained two earthquakes of 6.4 and 7.1 magnitudes.
Essential To Protect Weapon Systems From Cyber Threats
During a ribbon cutting ceremony at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, July 9, the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Fighters and Bombers Directorate officially opened a new $1.5 million facility essential to protecting weapon systems from cyber threats and mitigating cyber vulnerabilities across the Air Force fighters and bombers fleet.
Bill Harrison, EAA Lifetime 16556 and Warbirds 261, went west on Monday, June 24, in Tulsa, OK. Bill was a longtime member of EAA and Warbirds of America who had an indelible impact on the warbirds community over decades of involvement with the organization. Bill generously donated EAA's B-17, Aluminum Overcast, to the organization in 1983.
