CBP Agents Say The Aircraft Fired On Them After Crossing The Border
A Mexican military helicopter has reportedly crossed the border with the U.S. and fired on border patrol agents on the U.S. side, though the Mexican government denies the aircraft shot at the U.S. personnel.
Called A 'Cautionary Move' By Embassy And Pentagon Officials
The U.S. military is flying 30-35 missions per day over Iraq, according to Pentagon sources. Rear Admiral John Kirby, the Pentagon's press secretary, said that the missions are mostly surveillance sorties, but "some of those aircraft are armed."
Had Been Grounded Following An Engine Fire On An Air Force Lightning II Earlier In The Week
The U.S. Marine Corps has resumed flight operations with its F-35B aircraft after some of the airplanes were grounded following a fire aboard an Air Force F-35A earlier in the week.
