UASF Officials Say The Upgrade Will Improve Aircrews' Safety
And Comfort
Representatives from Martin-Baker Aircraft Co. Inc. are in the
early stages of installing a new escape systems in all T-38Cs at
Randolph AFB, after completing the same project at Laughlin AFB,
TX. Five Air Education and Training Command installations are
scheduled for the upgrade.
In a move that may bee seen as controversial by Canadian
citizens, the government said that it plans to announce Friday that
it plans to purchase as many as 65 new fighter aircraft to the tune
of $16 billion. The top contender, sources say, is the F-35
Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter.
MSN 3 Joins Sister-Ships In The Air During First Test
Flight
The third development aircraft of the new A400M airlifter made
its maiden flight Friday, taking off at 1357 local time from
Seville. MSN 3 was joined by its sister-ships MSN 1 and MSN 2,
which were also in the air during this test flight.
