Special Mission Aircraft Makes Public Debut At The Paris International Airshow
Viking Air Limited of Victoria, British Columbia has revealed its Guardian 400 special mission variant of the Series 400 Twin Otter Monday at the 2019 Paris International Airshow, the first public event for the airplane. This also marks the launch of the global demonstration tour announced by Viking in late May.
Lockheed Martin recently delivered the GPS III Contingency Operations (COps) software upgrade to the U.S. Air Force's current GPS ground control system. The upgrade will enable the Air Force to start commanding the new, next-generation GPS III satellites now coming off the production line and beginning to launch.
Aircraft Will Be Delivered To The Brazilian Air Force Soon
Embraer has brought the first KC-390 multi-mission airlift configured to operate with the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) to the 53rd edition of Paris Air Show International, in France. The aircraft, number 004, will be in the static area from June 17 to 23 at the Le Bourget airport, and will perform flight demonstrations on the first two days of the show. In agreement with the FAB, the airplane will return to Brazil right after the air show when it begins the acceptance and delivery process.
