Orbital ATK Awarded $90 Million Contract From NGC

Will Fabricate B-2 Composite Structures Under 5-Year Agreement

Orbital ATK has received an initial $90 million contract from Northrop Grumman to produce composite components for the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber with an option for follow-on orders. Under the terms of the 5-year contract, Orbital ATK will perform Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) and produce 17 Hot Trailing Edge (HTE) composite parts. Production will take place at Orbital ATK's Aerospace Structures Division facility in Dayton, Ohio, later this year.

First Japanese-Built F-35A Officially Unveiled At Nagoya Facility

Nearly 40 Aircraft Will Eventually Be Assembled In Japan

The first Japanese-assembled F-35A was unveiled at the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) Komaki South F-35 Final Assembly and Check Out (FACO) facility here today. The Japan F-35 FACO is operated by MHI with technical assistance from Lockheed Martin and oversight from the U.S. Government.
