L-3 Link-Built CH-47F Operational Flight Trainers Released For Training

Ready For Service At Army Flight School XXI

Two CH-47F Operational Flight Trainers (OFTs) installed at the U.S. Army’s Flight School XXI Warrior Hall facility by L-3 Link Simulation & Training (L-3 Link) have been released for training. L-3 Link performed work on the CH-47F OFTs under a contract modification from CSRA, prime contractor on the U.S. Army’s Flight School XXI program.

Airbus Helicopters Selected For UK’s Military Flight Training

Contract Valued At £500 Million Over 17 Years

Airbus Helicopters in the UK has been selected by Ascent as the Aircraft Service Provider for the UK’s Military Flying Training System (UKMFTS). The contract, worth £500 million (approx. $727 million) over 17 years, will see Airbus Helicopters deliver aircraft and an integrated support solution over the course of 18 months, ready to start training in April 2018.

Flew From Renton Airfield To Boeing Field For Installation Of Specialized Equipment

Australia’s first P-8A Poseidon aircraft has completed its first flight. The aircraft flew a short distance from Renton Airfield to Boeing Field in Washington State, where the P-8A’s sophisticated mission systems will be installed as part of project AIR 7000.
