Five-Year Performance-Based Logistics Contract To Provide Lifecycle Support For Royal Canadian Air Force's Fleet Of CH-147F Chinooks
Boeing and the Canadian government have agreed to an amendment to an existing performance-based logistics (PBL) contract. Under the $313 million fixed-price amendment, Boeing will continue to provide full system logistics, engineering support, supply chain, data analytics and training services to the Royal Canadian Air Force's (RCAF) fleet of 15 CH-147F Chinooks through 2023.
OFFSET Seeks Contributors For Second “Swarm Sprint” To Enhance Swarm Autonomy For Heterogeneous Swarm Systems In Urban Environments
DARPA’s OFFensive Swarm-Enabled Tactics (OFFSET) program envisions future small-unit infantry forces using small unmanned aircraft systems (UASs) and/or small unmanned ground systems (UGSs) in swarms of 250 robots or more to accomplish diverse missions in complex urban environments. By leveraging and combining emerging technologies in swarm autonomy and human-swarm teaming, the program seeks to enable rapid development and deployment of breakthrough swarm capabilities.
Contract Includes Upgrades To 178 Aircraft And 30 Training Devices
The U.S. Air Force has awarded a $155.7 million contract to Field Aerospace to upgrade the avionics on the entire T-1A trainer fleet of 178 aircraft and 30 training devices. The U.S. Air Force formally announced the small business award on February 14, the result of a competitive acquisition for which the USAF received eight offers.
