The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress today of a possible Foreign Military Sale to the United Kingdom of 20 F-117-PW-100 engines and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated cost of $300 million.
The first of ten Italian Air Force’s HH-139A medium twin engine helicopters has entered operational service with ceremony held at Cervia Air Base. These helicopters will supplement ageing HH-212 and HH-3F helicopters in the role of search and rescue operations across the nation. The remaining HH-139As will be delivered to the Air Force by the end of this year and are the first examples of the AW139M dedicated military variant to be delivered.

Lt. Gen. Christopher D. Miller, Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Programs will be the guest speaker for the March session of AFA's 2012 Air Force Breakfast Program. As Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Programs for Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Lt. Gen. Miller leads the development and integration of the Air Force's long-range plans and the five-year, $635 billion U.S. Air Force Future Years Defense Program.
