Representatives with Boeing tell ANN six AH-64D Apache Longbow
multi-role combat helicopters made their debut in Kuwait this week,
during a rollout ceremony.
Earlier this week, federal agents confiscated four F-14 Tomcat
fighters in Southern California belonging to private owners, after
investigators determined the jets had been sufficiently
demilitarized, and may have been improperly sold. Three of those
aircraft belong to aviation museums.
There will soon be more Hornets in the Land Down Under.
Officials in the Australian government said this week the country
will soon order 24 F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter-bombers, valued at
$4.6 billion US.
