That's the message from Senator John McCain (R-AZ), who's worried
that the Pentagon is trying to move too fast to find a replacement
for the aging KC-135 tanker -- a search that sparked one of the
biggest defense procurement scandals in American history.
ANN has confirmed that a Blue Angels F/A-18 twin engine jet
fighter has gone down, during routine training, in the Gulf of
Mexico. The aircraft went down in the Gulf, near Perdido Key, at
approximately 1445 local time.
