While we knew it was ready to fly at any time, the unique XP-82 restoration undertaken by Warbird craftsman, Tom Reilly, has seen some daylight under it's wings. after well over half a century of being ground-bound. The details are limited right now but a status update on Reilly's Facebook page spilled the beans... Reilly reported that, "On 31 December 2018, our XP-82 Twin Mustang flew for the first time since 14 December 1949.
